You may know celebrity magicians who have earned international recognition, dazzling audiences with their art of illusion. Yet in Taiwan, magic is rarely regarded as a respectable art form. Many illusionists on the island still face cultural stigma, a lack of support and the heavy burden of self-reliance.
This documentary follows magicians DaXien the Illusionist (幻術大仙), Jeff Lee (李佳峰) and Anson Lee (李昂軒), offering a glimpse into their personal journeys, sacrifices and hopes for the future of magic in Taiwan.
