Cheng Yu-chen didn’t set out to be a pizzaiolo when he got his part-time job at a pizzeria. One day, he tasted the Neapolitan pizza while and became infatuated with it. He started to treat pizza making as his career. After a failed attempt at winning the CAPUTP Cup, Cheng went abroad to learn from some of the best pizzaiolos. He finally won the competition one year later. To Cheng, making pizza is a form of training. He knows that only by constantly improving can he find peace of mind.
