A popular Taiwanese ghost tale in the 1990s told the story of a Taiwan tilapia that possessed the face of an old woman. A group caught, grilled, and ate the fish, but afterward, everyone in the group became sick, and one person died. A photo taken of this "human-faced fish" was circulated, making the story even more believable, and as such, Taiwan's tilapia industry suffered. In this episode, we see how our brains process facial recognition and how over-sensitivity can lead to misjudgment.
