As the Qing army prepares for battle, Sui, Zhu Yi-Bing, and Lin A-Jiu each struggle around what to make of their next move, either to strike or save their energy. Meanwhile, Tiap-moe interprets on behalf of the Qing generals in promoting rewards for those who capture their enemies while the army is ordered to return. Zhu Yi-Bing tries to get the Qing army to station right outside Chaicheng as Sui tries to... Tiap-moe and Tokitok meet again but this time they argue and stand on opposite sides.
