China Expands Ban on Taiwanese Fruit
Earlier this year China suspended imports of pineapples from Taiwan, claiming an invasive insect pest. Now the ban has been expanded to custard apples and wax apples, citing the same reason. But is this a genuine concern or rather a political pretext to hurt Taiwan’s exports? William Yen has more.
