Taiwanese Engineer Piloting NASA's Mars Rover
When NASA's Perseverance rover touched down on Mars after a seven-month, 480 million-kilometer journey, Yen Jeng, a Taiwan-born engineer, remotely piloted the rover's first movements on the red planet. Yen and his team use advanced technologies to prepare coding sequences every night (Mars time) and sent the sequences to Mars each morning (Earth time). Yen said humans will certainly have the chance to go to Mars in the future.
