Cyrus Chu is a distinguished Taiwanese economist and politician. He received his Ph.D. in economics in 1985 from the University of Michigan and was elected as an Academician of Academia Sinica, Taiwan's most prestigious academic institution, in 1998. He went on to become Taiwan's Minister of the National Science Council (2012-2014) and Ambassador to the WTO (2016-2019). A man of action and theory, Prof. Chu knows the importance of taking time out to continue dreaming and innovating. No wonder he has so much to share with Taiwan's Digital Minister Audrey Tang!
