Lai Attends Groundbreaking at Chung-Shan Institute's New Drone Industrial Park

President Lai Ching-te attended a groundbreaking ceremony Monday for a new drone industrial park in southern Taiwan under the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, Taiwan's state-run military research and development arm. The government said drones, with their various military and civilian applications, could play a vital role in in deterring threats as well as promoting economic growth.
